Christmas
Christmas without the kids was super hard. We had Christmas with my family Saturday. And the ward adopted us. I think my visiting teachers might have arranged that and I totally cried. But not as much as I did when I opened my etsy secret Santa present. It was one of those necklaces with my kids initials on it.I got the necklace from Angie from CherryandViolet and I totally started crying and loved it. I've always wanted one of these- just like as a mom's gift. You know how some people get presents for babies and stuff? This always seemed like it was so sweet- or you can also get personalized rings. Anyway I was surprised how emotional I was about it.
It's sad to be away from my kids in Christmas and makes the whole thing seem more raw but then I get reminded that this was the right decision and I had no choice. I've realized who my true friends are and seen how good a lot of people are, but also how wrong I was about a lot of people.

The coffee shop Linda and I visited sold watermelon. They had open mic night and Andrew was thrilled.

Danielle and Andrew
Danielle is such a good older sister. The other day I caught her rocking Andrew in a chair and she loved him and sang to him. He was laughing and smiling.
The kiddos sing songs about their dad and always love talking to him on the phone. He got them netflix to watch shows. They also love looking at bees. We just moved into a new place and the kiddos were really happy and want to catch the wasps. We bought a trap but I'm terrified of their fascination with bees. Mark is actually really good at catching and killing bees- it's uncanny.
Danielle told me next time I should come to the baptism and not work on moving, because to her getting baptized is more important. I'm so excited to plant bulbs with the kiddos.

Rock climbing is awesome
Mark, Danielle and I went to the quarry. She was fearless. Mark hung on the rope like a swing and asked me to pull him up.
